Kirsty Fields is the Creative Director of Social Ocean and is a multi-award-winning events marketer, mentor and speaker.

 

For over 21 years, Kirsty’s transitional career in libraries, education, rugby league and marketing has seen her in positions for local to the state government, state organisations, governing bodies and not-for-profit practices.

 

Kirsty combined her passion for creating events with social media when building her own marketing agency. But it was her interest in supporting and encouraging others to continue learning for success that has given the business its training and mentoring-focussed ethos. Kirsty believes that all leaders and business owners should have an understanding of marketing to support their company decisions and strategy and that this understanding of marketing should be accessible to everyone.

 

Since launching Social Ocean Kirsty has worked with hundreds of businesses and individuals teaching social media and content marketing, whilst maintaining corporate consultancy and professional association clients. She is passionate about education and advancement of women starting businesses later in life in particular and describes her role in the business community as a cheerleader who’s looking for opportunities that give others a voice and a platform to stand up and speak out.
