Adopting a Guided Inquiry Design approach to flipped learning

[Session for FlipCon Australia 2015 at Saint Stephen’s College, Upper Commera, 24 October, 2015.]

Inquiry-based learning is an active learning process, based on identifying relevant questions to research so that they student can develop knowledge about or create solutions to issues and problems.

This session will provide delegates with the core elements for the design of an inquiry based curriculum unit based on the Australian Curriculum. Delegates will receive a unit planning template. A completed unit of work will be presented that incorporates the core elements with connections to how an inquiry based approach can support flipped learning.
