Professional Teaching Portfolio Challenge

The Professional Teaching Portfolio Challenge is designed to support teachers on a step-by-step journey through the daunting task of creating a professional portfolio and collecting evidence to support their claim against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Participants who undertake the Challenge will be guided through a series of tasks designed to deconstruct the process of establishing a professional teaching portfolio and collecting evidence to support their claim against the Standards. This will be done by:

Identifying the three different levels of performance appraisal required by teachers and providing resources to help address each level;

Identifying key components of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and providing guidance in understanding what each standard may look like and how evidence can be collected to address that standard; and

Assisting teachers in the development of a professional portfolio that reflects their growth as an educator.

This webinar explains how the Challenge works and highlights some useful tools and strategies to make the accreditation process less daunting.
